Buchanan Log House

The Buchanan Log House Chapter, APTA, is comprised of six elected officers and directors, four appointed at-large directors, historian, and six committee chairs. Together, our goal is to protect and preserve this historic property and keep alive the story of James and Lucinda Buchanan, their children, as well as other families who have lived at the Buchanan Log House over the past 200 years.

We are a chapter of the Association for the Preservation of Tennessee Antiquities (APTA). For more information on the APTA and its other historic properties, visit their website at www.theapta.org. As a paid member of Buchanan Log House, you also have free access to other APTA properties.
